{{{ Grains & Glass }}}

So friend/surfer/colleague Harvey Winter has made his second Wooden Water Sled. It really is a thing of beauty and I can't wait to see it oceanside. His craft stylings are really on display here as many man hours were spent perfecting this one. Glassed by Squeak. Harvey unveiled it for his students in his Woodshop class when I managed to snap these quick pics.
That is actually layers of wood and cork. Yeah that's right. Gotta love the contrast and texture that was created because of it.
He used the hollow frame method in the creation of the board.
Smooth lines
I think this board is going to glide and have a lot of drive behind it. It's 5'8" and I'll post the other dims when I get em'
Quad fin set up. That's the Drive I'm talking about!
HW designed his own logo as well... he's planning to do a longboard next so wait in line because I'm trying to get him to do one for me as well. A lot of man hours are needed so we'll see. Respect!
